| Well, curiosity conquered fear so my daughter, EJ, held a spider for the first time. I had her put her hand out and let the pink toe just walk over her and I took her back. Next thing I knew, she had her and wouldn't give her back! So, of course, I had to get photo evidence. And another addict is born. | |

| Good for EJ! Often the thought of what something is going to be like is much worse than the actual experience. Years from now, when she has a roomful of spiders, she can look back at this picture and remember how it all got started...LOL! | |

| A little bit of an update: Shes still a little apprehensive about holding the big Curly Hair, but I think its more of a size thing than actual fear of the spider herself. But... She has no problem walking straight up to that pink toe's cage, reaching in and taking her out. She had to take her out twice today to show how well she matches her sweater. (Good grief, she can even "girlie up" a spider) | |

| Nah. Stay close to a flat surface and just do it. If you hesitate, they can sometimes get a bit flinchy. Just be confident and she'll go where ever you want her to. | |

| Well, I mean you just don't want her to fall more than a few inches should she be dropped, or something. Shes a terrestrial, so a big fall could kill her. | |
