Sad story

My cat Sam came to me last July, his former keepertossed him out in the hall with only two cans of food. a neighbor knowing I was looking for a cat brought him to me, told me how he came from an abusive home. when I got him he was all bone, had a huge lump on his tail, and reaked. I cleaned him up, fed him, let him do his thing. he made himself my cat. after the first couple days he refused to leave my side. if I'd leave the house for more than a few hours he'd howl till I came home. after only a couple weeks I'd fattened him up to a healthy weight, the lump on his tail had drasticaly reduced in size. his fur shined. still refusing to leave my side. he did great for quite awhile, then he stopped eating, he's been to the vet several times, each time with new worsening results. he gets fluid injections every other night, and antibiotics and steriods twice daily. after his last visit the only thing he'd willingly eat was baby food, but now he's even rejected that. awaiting a call from the vet now. but I believe he is at the end of his life. he can barely hold his head up. but when I hold him he purrs away. he seems like he's not in pain. but even force feeding him isn't working. I just wish I knew for sure whats goin on inside his head. what he's really feeling.

right befor i lost fiveal and tiffa they both would sit and purr it was like they was just happy to be near me and maybe it was comferting to them maybe hes just trying to spend his time he has left with you and the only way he knows how to

Sorry to hear you cat isn't doing well. I hate to see sick animals it makes you feel like crap cause they can't tell you what is wrong. Good luck with her.

he's going to the vet tomorrow. hopefully this will make things more clear.

Sam is at the vet now. at 5:30 I'm going back to make the decision official.
