| A few new pictures of a very pregnant Evie. Theres no mistaking it this year. Shes definitely caught. Eve is in the top tank. Sylvia, non gravid and almost the same size Eve was, is in the bottom tank. Couple more of the big mama. Can't even begin to get a hand around her. So far so good. Still another few months to go. We're predicting a good 50 babies this year. We'll be knee deep in baby boas! LOL | |

| Hopefully we'll get all live, healthy babes. We didn't give her any chickens this year, so we'll see. (Feeding poultry seem to encourage healthy development) | |

| Congratulations to you and mom-to-be Eve! Here's hoping you get lots of cute, healthy little snakies!
Just a question: Have you noticed any change in Eve's personality since she's been gravid? | |

| Yes... especially this last week. Shes become the Super Slug. I guess she may be getting to the fat and miserable phase now. We can reach in her tank and touch her or love on her as long as we want and she seems to enjoy it. Shes never been aggressive, but shes always had this looming intimidation. Like she was a force to be rekoned with should she decide to turn mean. Now, shes as tamed down and mellow as they come. She still has the "dead light" eyes, but I guess you could say her "vibe" isn't nearly as malevolent. (If that made any sense) | |

| Very interesting! I noticed a similar change in my big water turtle while she was gravid (even though her eggs were infertile). She's usually basically friendly, but doesn't like to be picked up or held. When she was carrying eggs, though, she'd let me hold and stroke her without trying to get away. I guess hormones affect reptiles, too! | |
