Today I decorated my daughter's Avicularia avicularia, aka Pink Toe. I gave her some extra foliage so that she's have places to roam and hide like in the wild. Her natural range would include places like New Guiana in South America, and she could hang out at a few feet from the ground, or twenty feet off the ground off of a branch or trunk of a tree.
I decided a nice wide leaf style would work awesome for cover and concealment, and then I added a pretty pink flower to match the toes. Remember, this is for my daughter, not me. If it was for one of my spiders it would be more jungle and less foo foo crap lol!

Eh, pink isn't that horrible, just a little girly hehehe
So, now the second spider from the discussion. She was successfully rehoused and is presently hiding in a corner, poor girl. She has an awesome home compared to what she had before. Of course you can see from above, one more photo which shows a home she can hide in, even when she makes it to adult size

Here she is before rehousing

Cyriopagopus schioedtei

and immediately after

Very, but once they get on unfamiliar territory, they go for very mellow walks, no joke!

Cyriopagopus schioedtei? Well, one thing to know is they don't last long without moisture at all, so no danger there unless its humid where you are. If that is the case, don't get bit, and in a few years, watch places on the walls where it can hide.
Sorry to hear about losing it, Maybe you can try this species again in the future.
