borneo bat eater

I know this sounds hard to believe, but you can breed a burmese and reticulated python, albeit with very low chances on fertilized eggs. The resulting cross is called a borneo bat eater. As of right now, I dont have one. However, Hannibal (burm) and Princess (retic) have tied up. So while I dont have a borneo bat eater right now, we shall see what the future brings. All of you cross your fingers, pray, or whatever it is that you do for good luck. Cause I want a pair so I can breed snakes that shouldnt exist.

A breeder we know down here tried a few years back and ended up with only a small handful of eggs. Unfortunately, they all ended up being stillbirths.

yeah, thats the thing, such a low fertillity rate, however, i understand that the bat eaters are actually fertile themselves, so heres hoping. now to wait for the next couple of months.
