These are some of my friends Birds. The one sitting with the Hycynthe is called a Milicynth. Its a split with a Hyacynth and a Milatary. Its not a Hybrid its a split. You get Hybrid cross pairing Macaws of the same genus. A split comes from breeding two diff Genus. A hyacynth is a different from a Macaw. Hyacynths are a type of Macaw but the genus is diff. from theMilitary. What is interesting is this Split has no down feathers at all, thus no dander at all.It is 24 yrs old ?? give or take. All the Hyacinths are from Clives breeding group and all are for sale . $ about $20,000.00 eachThe split is not for sale. He turned down an offer of get this $50,000.00 for him. There are four splits in the So. Fla area . Likely from the same parrots. Also there is a group of'Wild Milacynts' living in so. fla.Again most like ly from the same parents-believed to have escaped from breeder about 20 yrs ago.. Clive is going to try to Back breed them with his big Girlie Hyacynth.Right now she is sitting.Just thought yall would like to see him. I like the no dander idea, how about you Sherry?
