i have no clue what this thing is it almost hit me one night on the porch i do know it likes sweet stuff he was eating it out of a slushy cup and this bug is almost the lengh of my hand its big

Very nice find and pics! :) It's an adult male Corydalus cornutus (Dobsonfly) known more commonly by the name Helgramite, which is the larvae stage. BTW, the larvae stage makes excellent fishing bait.

we got another one on the door and this one has the pinchers so im guessing ones male and ones female either way there creepy looking lol
