I am going to be breeding Manduca sexta (Goliath Hronworms) Right now I have 16 that have dug down and are ready to pupate. So hopefully I can get them to emerge into adult moths soon, and be loaded with cats :) . Here are some pics that I took of them, for anyone that doesn't know what Goliath Hornworms look like. I will also post pics of the adult moths and such when the time comes.

Thanks everyone :)

Don't really know the purpose of the horn. It's not a stinger and it isn't sharp. It's actually as soft and bendable a a blade of grass.

They are all in their pupal stage now, which I will post pics of soon. So hopefully they will be emerging as moths in the next 4 weeks.

Now here are pics of what the pupa look like.

The thing you see sticking out is the mouth part of the adult moth form. In which they stretch out to feed on nectar and such.

This one in particular is going to be female. Which I was going to get a pic of how to sex them, but my camera is not that good.
