2 Brand New Live box turtles

ok fox went over to get a weed eater to cut grass around the front of the house and while over at the other house he was headed back this way he stoped to rescue a huge common snapper who got rather snotty with him and scratched the heck out of his hands and arms lol but he saved it from being killed and released it to the pond so as he was on the road to commin home he slams his brakes to save another turtle in the road who was the male and hes pretty banged up then he starts to head back here and wam another one this one is missing her back half of her foot looks like another animal got ahold of her so now they are both in my rehab area in the garage lol and soon as they settle down abit more i will post new pics and all i can say is THANK GOD he didnt bring the snapper home to LOL he would have released the boxies but being there enjurys they need to be tended to so he brought them to yeah go figure me the Doctor as ive ben called to fix it its broken LOL

this male box turtle has a broken leg and a toe ready to fall off he is abit of a mess he was probly hit by a car

Oh, Sherry, they're beautiful. I hope they recover well for you. How lucky is that, having Fox find them like he did?

i hope they recover to but now fox told me no more turtles and so whats he do bring me turtles LOL he said if i didnt they woulda ben left for dead so i cant argue with him at this point becouse they did need help so they will stay here and recover and see how they do if they do well and based on there needs they may get adopted out but thats along while befor that will happen becouse they wont make it back on there own if he has to have his foot removed im concerned he might have infection going on his foots pretty swelled up and hes got a place under him i cant really see right now becouse he refuses to come out to much to show me hes really scared right now so im going to give him a day or two then try

im over joyed LOL but some how i know these arent the only two that will end up in need

Aww, poor babies! It's a cruel world out there for them. With their injuries, they would have been easy prey for other animals if Fox hadn't picked them up. I know you'll do all you can to help them; you have more compassion than some vets! Please keep us updated on how they're coming along. Bless you both!

thanks we ben putting neosporin on the wounds and keeping them clean there still not eating yet but thats to be expected they ben thru alot and it doesnt help that i have to keep cleaning there wounds but im more worried about that right now then anything
