Its been crazy busy and I've been sick as a dog. Sorry 'bout that.

I swear, theres a freakin' plague going on or something. Gonna invest in a wheelbarrow and a bell and just walk up and down the streets.

Sorry I haven't checked in much lately. My dad, who's 85 years old, had major surgery at a hospital that's an hour's drive from our city. Although he was considered a high risk patient, he came through the operation fine and was transferred yesterday to a skilled nursing facility here in town for a short period of physical therapy to help him regain his strength. I'm physically and emotionally exhausted, but very relieved that the worst is over.

I hope those of you who've been ill will be feeling better soon. There seems to be epidemics of flu and strep throat going around everywhere. Please take care of yourselves!

its good to hear everythings ok with your dad i went thru all that last year with hubbys dad haven surgery and it sure takes alot out of you running back and forth .
