| Mortishas fur has been fading in color lately, she's looking kinda drab and pale, think it might be a sign of an impending molt?? or could it be something else??
on an interesting side note, I attempted to pull the flower thing out of her cage to stop her crickets from hiding in it, she ran from the far side of the tank right up to the flower withher front legs up like she was saying "leave it alone! I like it there" so I guess I just gotta knck em out of the thing every so often...

| I think she is getting ready to molt. They will lose 'fur' on their adom. So maybe soon. They can be territorial and not want things moved. But you learn to tell when they are threatening. Totally diff. Have you picked her up yet? Just wondering.I would have them but Melodie is scared of them. crap. |

| Yup! Sounds like your little lady is going to molt. Don't cancel any plans. This may take a while. (My Singapore Blue has been in a premolt for a month now) Make sure she has fresh water, should she need it and... And I can't stress this enough... If you get up one morning and she's flipped over on her back... she is not dead.
Didn't I tell ya rosies are a funky little species? Meticulous little buggers, they are!

| They are.... I took Annie's water dish out the other day to clean it. Now it took me forever to get the dish out, as she came over and grabbed a hold of it and wouldn't let it go. Then when I went to put it back, she leapt on to of it, gave me a threat stance, then started twisting the dish until it was in the "right position." Quirky little bug...
Sorry, Bat. Didn't mean to jack your thread. Its not just Mortisha. Its rosies in general. LOL

| I've heard alot of people say they found their spider upside down, figured it was dead, so they threw it away. I have to wonder how many tarantulas are running around in landfills now because of it. | |

| she had quite a fit last week when I removed a dead cricket from under her log, now I find myself in the position of having to remove another dead cricket from under the log...atleast she hasn't complained about the water dish. no I havent actually held her yet, she's been WAY too moody for me to atempt it. | |

| I love it when a critter tries to be 'The Boss of Me'. It shows spunk and usually means the critter is comfortable enough to 'Boss' anybody.A healthy sign, just remember to let the critter know your not intimated. Now Melodie is for sure 'The Boss of Me'. |
