We have had him since he was an egg, hatched in May 2000. Absolutely the friendliest Scarlet Mccaw I ever knew. They do tend to be biters lol. Now the green (Yellow Nape) was also handraised but will eat you alive if you try to pick hwer up. Devil Bird. She does talk like a taperecorde for sure says over 100 words and phrases she is 25 ryrs old.Foghorn knows about 1/3 thw words she knows along with some Sailor Talk lol Must have gotten that from my wife lol. We also have a Parrltlet in the house, smallest of the true parrots .his name is 'Q' oh yeah the green one is 'lucy' All were had feed as babies by me and my wife.Mostle me hahahah

Macaws' beaks always look so intimidating. I imagine they could do some real damage. It's a good thing Foghorn is friendly! Do you teach your birds words and phrases, or do they just listen to conversation and pick things up?

My parents had a nasty female African Grey. She'd come to the side of the cage and beg to have her head rubbed; but then when you reached over to touch her, she'd nail ya! But the male Grey was a sweetheart. Do male birds tend to be friendlier than females?

It must have been fun to see your birds grow from tiny babies to the beautiful creatures they are now. You've done a wonderful job!

I cant tell for sure. I am actyually thinkin og an African Babie that my friend is raisin by had as a frrien in the ehop ?!!! I might get him butt? Lots -O- comittent. They for sure out life their owners and I'm allready 59. Sort -O- a delim,a but I want another so bad also a trantula. BVut such is my wish list hahahhhahahah
