| Anthony and his wife, Casey, came over tonight to give me a refresher course on handling the spiders. The first gal he reached in a picked up was the Cyriopagopus (Singapore Blue). He had no problems with her at all. She came right into his hand without hesitation. He had me hold her for a bit, too! That was freakin' AMAZING!!! (But I definitely won't be trying it on my own.) Then he moved over to the Pokie and again, reached right in and she crawled right into his hand. I think its safe to say shes going to molt again. Shes kinda lookin' like butt right now. He went through and pulled out every spider. I was awe-struck by the confidence and ability this kid has with these animals. He even held Princess Shiney Hiney, and she didn't even flick! Whats up with that?? Aside from the Pokie, who was just a little too much for me, and the G.pulchra, who was apparently having a really bad day, I got to hold all of these spiders tonight, most of them, for the first time. Just had to share. Now I'm off to hold my Pink Toe lady! | |

| I gotta admit, I really am jealous of your collection K. Especially the P. metallica. That guy has to have nerves of steel to do that kind of stuff too! I remember watching a video of a gentleman named Cedrik who speciallised in African species. He made some AWESOME enclosures! He was videoing removing a P. regalis from a jar and the sucker bolted up his arm on top of his head! He very calmly aimed the camera so he could record it, then cupped the spider from his head, very very calmly. That really impressed me | |

| We have 8 tarantulas so far, Tom. The "wish-list" is growing, though. Thank you for the compliments, Stalker. That means alot to me coming from you.
Watching Anthony handle these spiders is nothing short of amazing. He has such a rapport with them that the animals just come up to him and are as comfortable as they can be. I watched him hold his own Ornamental that was just enormous and it crawled all over him. Never bolted or showed any signs of aggression. He took out his OBT and handled it like it was nothing. He talks to them and treats them so gentle. I can't help but just watch in awe.
Ceaser Milan is the Dog Whisperer Robert Redford is the Horse Whisperer This must make Anthony the Spider Whisperer

| That young man is amazing! I do think that certain people have an unspoken connection with some animals. His confidence most likely played a big part, too; since I believe that animals are able to sense our fear.
You'll probably enjoy your spiders even more now that you're going to be physically interacting more with them.
