Native American Flute

I thought "K" might like this. These are my flutes.The one w/two connected is a double in the Key f#(F# is the unoffical but accepted Key for Native American music) It is Spanish Cedar w/tourcoise stone inlay.The Larger flute is a Contra Bass in the Key D,very difficult---need lots of wind! The third is made of Americam Walnut It is in Key G It is just right to carry in the leather pouch. The best way to learn is to keep thjem out where you can play as you wish. I have been playing for about a yesar and am just getting to where I am comfortable with my music, have learned a few songs but Native American flute music is not written down. There is a leather patch that covers tie third hole making the flute Pentatonic---remove the patch and the flute goes into Chromatic sound. Very Very hard to play but notation is so much greater in Chromatic. I have always loved music and seem to just have a musical spirit.ird flute is Walnut mid rang In the Key

Tom, they are beautiful! And I know what you you mean by hard to play. It does take ALOT of practice and breathing techniques to play them successfully. My kids' Godfather plays a "Siyotanka" style flute and the sound is nothing short of mezmerizing.

i just thought the turtles nest to it was cute looked like they was going to play it
