| yup there all babys just diff sizes and the same kind of turtle when there born there about the size of a quarter or smaller and it takes them a long time to grow to look like my big bruts its a tuff life as little ones becouse they get eaten by birds and other animals in the wild so most babys stay under ground or under rocks leaves and stumps to avoid from being eaten but that doesnt allways happen when they venture out for food or water most times other animals get them and at such a early stage of life there shells are softer then the adults shells so its like busting open a crab so most babys dont make it but the lucky ones that do grow up to adults and breed and so on some lucky adults have gone thru life with out being hurt others end up with busted shells cracks chips and missing legs its a ruff life for some life isnt easy being a turtle in the wild and well some times it isnt easy in captivety either when ppl dont care like the baby i have the poor things still haven probs her hole opened back up and all i can do is keep stuff on it from getting infected and hope that it closes back up shes alert and trys to eat and drink i know its getting some foods and water becouse it pottys | |

| OMG Tom, they're adorable!! They're so tiny, they hardly look real! When I look at my Boxies, it's hard to imagine that they were once that small.
That's a cute pic of Melodie holding the baby! It'd be interesting to take pictures of her with the same turtle periodically as it grows. | |
