Poor Tiny : (

This move has been very hard on her. About two weeks before we moved she started acting odd. I guess all of the packing and changing of her home was upsetting to her. Since the transition she is worse. We are doing a lot of remodeling, so the house is full of new smells, sounds and then there's the new pup. Although the pup and Tiny don't interact, she still must know when she's nearby.

Tiny won't eat regularly...she's only accepted food three times in about 5 weeks. She's definitely looking weight too. : ( I'm so sad because she is so special to me and in order to make my hose a home, I'm making her miserable. I'd take her to the vet, but I'm quite certain that this is the problem, so I'd be wasting my money. Besides, the vet seems to know less than I do anyway. ***rolling eyes***
Just last night I offered her salmon, her favorite and she stuck her nose up to that. I'm at a loss....

well i would say with all the changes and the new dog she probly is feeling preety weird with all the sounds and such snappers dont like alot of fuss and noise they like peice and quite the noise is probly bothering her and she needs something she can call her own safe zone away from everything if i was you i would consider taken her out side for an hour and let her have some time to get fresh air probly things come at her way to fast with all changes best thing to do for her is keep her in one room away from noise and give her a blankie to hide hunder so she feels safe as for not eating if this keeps up then you may have to get some stuff from a pet store to help aid her into getting her app back

Poor Tiny.It's got to be hard cause you can't really talk to her and explain. Majic is right sounds like she needs some good old sunshine to oerk her up.

Have you felt stressed out with all the work of moving? Our pets seem to pick up and react to our emotions. Have you been able to spend any one-on-one time just relaxing with Tiny? She might sense that there's a new animal who's getting some of the attention she used to get.

If she seems more at ease outdoors, maybe you could try to feed her something out there. Kat had some good suggestions. I know how concerned you must be about Tiny. I hope she starts eating and gets back to her old self soon.
