Yes... Yes it does hurt. He's the one about every 6 months or so, that reminds me he's a snake and I'm just a silly human. Its always been just an opened-mouth graze, but for a few seconds, it feels like my hand is in a blender. He did bite me good once when he was a baby, though. That was unpleasant.

Boy what a big mouth. I never got bit from my Redtail but I did get bit once from a friends ball python. That hurt pretty good, and I'm the only one that ever got bit by that snake. . How old and big is Bob? :huh:

Bob is 2 years old, between 9 and 10 feet and close to 20 pounds. He's about half way through the bulk of his growing.

How funny! I'm used to seeing turtle yawns, but their mouths are nowhere as big as snakes'! Do you always have your camera out and ready to capture great shots like this?
I'm going to think of Bob the next time my dentist tells me to "open wide"...LOL
