Every day after Nikolai eats his lunch, we go for a walk. He's so funny, stays on the sidewalk and strolls right along beside me. He snacks on weeds along the way. The neighbors are getting to know him. The guy who lives across the street asked if I could "speed that turtle up a little." I told him that he's already in 5th gear. Wink

Well, yesterday he made it all the way to the end of the street, which is over a block long. (Since he'll only walk in one direction, I pick him up and carry him back.) When we get back home, I put him in a pan so he can drink and soak. This is how I found him a few minutes later:

Nicky is a Russian Tortoise. They're pretty small when compared to many other tortoises, about the size of a Box Turtle.

i miss the 2 i had there names was Diggie and Duggie i lost them both sevral years back when we had a bad winter they both got sick and passed away but i dont want to get anymore right now
