As yall know I never cared for lizards, they scared me lol.But the Bearded Dragon seems to be different.Long story. But I have read about Brumation, Dragon hibernation. I know they dont hibernate. But I have been reading about this and was wondering about some things. Is there an age they do this, I mean do babies do it . And can my juvenile dragons be starting to do this? My friend has the parents of my babies and the parents seem to be doing something like what I think is brumation. More than likely I will be getting all my friends dragons this spring. I am building a dragon place to let them roam semi free .Should be ready by spring but I was just wondering if yall have info on this subject. I have read alot on line but no one seems to know the answer to my ?'s Now my babies seem to be lazy or sleeping alot. I soak them and they do eat 1/2 crickets and veggies but I wasnt sure if they were to young to Brumate. Pretty sure my juvies are just starting and I'm very sure my friends adults are doing it. Sleep

Its not uncommon for the young ones to go into a brumation cycle. If you want, give them a good dose of warm and they should perk right up. They shouldn't be any worse for wear, though, if you want to let them enjoy a good snooze through the cooler weather.

Thanks. You my first lizard thing that didnt scare the crap out of me. I did try a cecko but the dang thing scared me . I think I over fed it or just plain killed it thru being stupid. But these little dudes are different. My friend has a few females and two males that breed . He also has two juvie leather back males .But I think his partner wants him to get rid of the dragons cause he is the dude with all the torts. But my guess was right,.I knew you would know. lol!
