| Some are for enjoyment, but I really want to breed the Cobalt Blue and that Gold Fringe, the Ornithoctonus auriotibialis. I have two slings, so in a few years I'll probably have at least one male for my female. I now have two females of Ornithoctonus auriotibialis, and an unsexed juvvenile, hopefully that's a male. Males of that species are really hard to find, but I would absolutely love to breed both of my girls. Poecilitheria ornata is another one I want to breed, and if that sling ends up male, I have that female I got a few months back. That Blue Fang thing, Ephobopus cyagnathus wouldn't be bad for breeding, probably not this year though. Next year I intend to breed Yamia sp. koh samui again. We'll just have to see what's down the road. As far as temperment goes, the top three are pretty close to psycho. That top one may end up being completely psychopathic. Poecilitheria pederseni aren't too bad from what I've seen. They don't want to be messed with, but rarely bite. Poecilitheria ornata have been known to get feisty, but use mostly speed to get away. Oddly enough, from what I've heard, that bottom Avicularia diversipes, the future pink toe, well, those will put up threat poses and bite. Not the typical Pink Toe attitude at all! They sound very mean as bell, I'll just have to see. As far as how many do I have? I now have too many, but there are so many more out there I still want! | |
